Victor Weaver, 85, of Spring Hill, Florida passed away on February 16, 2022. Victor was born on October 6, 1936 to Victor and June (Cotting) Weaver in Newark, New Jersey. He grew up and attended school in New Jersey, At the age of 18 he enlisted in the Marines.
Vic worked at Public Service Electric and Gas Company in Newark, N.J. as a mechanic and electrician early in his career. He was also a police officer in Mine Hill, N.J. He moved to Florida in 1986 where he began a long career in real estate. He loved the real estate business so much that he continued to work well into his 70s. Vic was a proud man who put his family first. He constantly voiced his love and appreciation for his wife, Kim. You felt welcomed in his home where he always offered you something to eat or drink. One of his favorite things to do was to get in his car and drive. He would drive all over Florida. In fact, he knew all the best eating places near and far from Spring Hill. During his free time Vic loved being at the beach, whether it was watching people fish or soaking up the sun. He had a great love for his motorcycle which gave him a sense of freedom. Vic will be greatly missed and loved forever by his many friends and especially his family.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Kimberly Weaver (Leffingwell); children Catherine Dachisen, Victor Weaver III (Kelly), James Weaver, Kelly Charboneau (Scott) and Chad Weaver (Lindsay). 19 grandchildren (not including another miracle arriving in August), 14 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and extended family members. Vic had a special place in his heart for the family dogs, which all seemed to love him as much as he loved them.
Vic was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and June Weaver, his brother, William Weaver and his daughter, Christine Cooper.
Funeral arrangements are being conducted at Turner Funeral Home, 14380 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill, FL. There will be a viewing on Monday, February 21st at 12:00 - 2:00 pm followed by a service at 2:00 pm. Prayers are appreciated.
