He was born in St. Louis, MO on September 9, 1948 and graduated from Spring Valley High School in Spring Valley, NY. He served in the Army for two years, earning an honorable discharge, and was employed at Lederle Laboratories in Pearl River, NY for many years. After his move to Port Richey FL in 1987, he worked for many years as a propane delivery driver who made people laugh with his humor and opinions. After retirement, he enjoyed spending time with friends in his neighborhood and visiting family in New York, Missouri and Massachusetts. He enjoyed military and family history, collecting antique and contemporary firearms, motorcycles and his beloved Chevy cars.
Terry is survived by two brothers, Kevin and Sherril Ledbetter, and a sister, Jennifer Stiles, as well as nieces Jamie Krampf-Ledbetter, Erin Huang, Heather Jenner, nephew Jason Ledbetter, numerous great-nieces and nephews, and beloved cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Sherril Ledbetter, and his mother, Helen Fallon Stiles.
Services will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO at a later date. A Celebration of Life service will also be held at King of Kings Lutheran Church, Port Richey, FL arranged by his neighbors and friends, on August 5th, at 9AM.
