Loving father and devoted husband Rick Harmon’s love and passion for life didn’t end with his death. Rick passed away on February 3rd, 2022, at the age of 50 after losing his battle with pneumonia, surrounded by loved ones who will continue to carry on his legacy by living their lives to the fullest.
Rick spent most of his professional career working in the construction industry and in retail. His working career was cut short several years ago due to an injury with his back that kept him from performing many physical duties. He became a stay-at-home dad, taking pride in helping raise his children and helping them with at home schooling.
The simplest pleasures in life brought joy to Rick, he was passionate about watching his favorite football team, the Denver Broncos, as was evident by the various Broncos tattoos he accumulated over the years. Another one of his passions was taking weekend trips with his family to local amusement parks or festivals, all of which he would happily post photos of to share with family and friends. He was also fond of his numerous pets which consisted of several dogs, birds, and fish.
Rick is survived by his wife of 23 years, Diona; his four children Richard, Samantha, Zakia and Cora; his parents Diane and Fred; his siblings and their spouses Robert and Claudia; Rebecca; Rochelle and Matt; and numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
There will be a Celebration of Life event held at Tuner Funeral Home in Spring Hill, Florida on March 6th, in honor of his life and legacy.
