Patricia A. “Pat” Kemp, 82, of Belleview, FL, and formerly of Spring Hill, FL, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at her residence. A native of Hedrick, Iowa, she was born Nov. 12, 1934 to Gustav and Hannah (Schokel) Dubois, one of six children. Mrs. Kemp moved to Florida 48 years ago from Ottumwa, Iowa and had been a Spring Hill resident for 30 years. Pat, as she was known to everyone, was a real estate broker and the former owner of Patricia Ward Real Estate. She loved going to church and shopping and even still loved paying attention to the real estate market. Pat is survived by her four children: Toni Lovett (husband Ted) and Cheryl Wallace, both of Belleview, FL; Robert Ward II, Seminole, FL and Jane Lawler (husband Dennis), Spring Hill, FL; sister Beverly Campbell, Milton, FL; grandchildren Kacy, Jessica, Charles, Kendra, Robbie, Erica and Brian and great grandchildren Emily, Hannah, Charlie, Lily, Maddison, Justin, Dominic, Alexxia, Anthony and William. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, William Kemp; a son, John Michael Ward, and her siblings Gus and Florence Dubois, Mildred Walla and Delores Aker. Friends will be received on Monday, May 1, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Turner Funeral Home, Spring Hill, FL, where a chapel service will take place on Tuesday, May, 2, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. with Pastor Fran Welch officiating.
