He was born in Brooklyn, New York on September 9th,1940 to the late Ralph and Carmela Ostraco.
Nicholas worked in Freight handling for Emery Air Freight. He was a member of the VFW and NRA. He had a passion for his family, hunting, and classic cars.
Nicholas is survived by his wife Priscilla Ostraco whom he married on October 25th, 1986.
He is also survived by his children Joseph Ostraco ( Debbie) of Safety Harbor, FL, Marie Knapp of Spokane, WA, Cammy Brey (Peter) of Manorville, NY, Jenny Miller of Lindenhurst, NY, Nicki Tracey (Mike) of Spring Hill, FL, Jolene Pastore (Joe) of Spring Hill, FL. Grandchildren Blaise, Kyle, Alex, Owen, Mckenzie, Maddy, Kaiden, Daniale, Caitlin, Grace, Joseph, Matthew, Nicholas, Steven, Robert, Thomas, Dana, Greysen, and Benjamin, Great-Grandchildren Avery, Kenna, Leighton, Sadie, and Scout. He is also survived by an honorary son, John Logan (Jessica) of Hampstead, NC.
Nicholas is also survived by his brother George Ostraco of Mt. Upton, NY, Sister-in-law Pammy Bugyi (John) of Mount Upton, NY, Brother-in-laws Lennie Goodspeed (Brenda) of Scottsville, KY Jeff Goodspeed of Garrattsville, NY, Craig Goodspeed (Laurie) of Garrattsville, NY and Joey Goodspeed (Cheryl) of Garrattsville, NY.
He is preceded in death by his son Kenneth Ostraco (Surviving wife Adrienne Ostraco), his brother Ralph Ostraco, his sisters Shirley and Margie, his mother and father-in-law, Betty and Gordon Goodspeed.
A military service with full honors will be held on Friday, April 21st, 2023 at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell Florida at 11:00 am.
