She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 4/14/1974, moved to Lafayette/Scott Louisiana and settling in Spring Hill, Florida. Lynn was always full of positive energy and gratuity for the experiences and people she share her life. Lynn graduated from William Tennent High School and was active in many activities such as cheerleading, band, field hockey, and baton twirling. She married the State cross country star of Pennsylvania David Sykes on 2/3/1968. Lynn loved to brag about how "cute" he is and how "thoughtful" he was to her. Lynn enjoyed working in retail for various companies throughout her life and especially enjoyed staying up to date on the latest fashion and beauty products. She enjoyed many clubs and most recently was in the Pennsylvania Club in Spring Hill, Florida and the Garden Club of Spring Hill. Lynn had many interests including playing piano, listening to music, reading biographies, autobiographies and historical non-fictions. She enjoyed gardening, swimming daily, exercising, traveling with her husband David and watching sports. She had a warm infectious personality making everyone in the room laugh, and had a gift for gratitude making others feel appreciated with her thoughtful words and gestures. She had an amazing memory and delighted in her family.
She is survived by her loving spouse David who was her best friend. Her children Susan Simon who she adored and her son-in-law Chris, her son David Sykes who made her laugh and daughter-in-law Debbie. Grandchildren Adrien and Jase who were her light and her "world".
