Lorraine D. Vadala

Lorraine was born in New York City on April 22, 1940 and graduated from Long Island City High School. She worked as a supervisor for Ruben H. Donnelly Corporation for 15 years. She was married to Vincent R. Vadala for almost 60 years and spent 35 years of her married life in New Jersey and Long Island.

Lorraine and Vincent spent their retirement years in Pristine Place, Spring Hill, Florida from 2000 to 2023. They were parishioners of Saint Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church in Spring Hill.

Lorraine had a passion for playing dominoes, cards and mahjong and enjoyed her many loving friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy (Knapsack) Tucci, Gerald N. Tucci and her brother, Gerald N. Tucci Jr. She is survived by her loving husband, Vincent, her daughter, Christine D. Vadala, her son-in law, Jason L. Robinett and her two beloved grandchildren, Kaiden James Holmgren and Nolan Vincent Holmgren. Lorraine was a devoted mother, grandmother, and a good friend.

Funeral arrangements will be held at Turner Funeral Home, Spring Hill, Florida on Friday, May 2, 2025 with visitation from 1-2pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
