Pennsylvania born, Kathy was raised in Florida ; graduating from Vero Beach High School in 1965. After Jones Business College she worked as an Executive Secretary where she met and married Jim Battles in 1968.
Kathy enjoyed people and changed her career path to sales running a successful venture in the buying and selling of children's' clothing. Upon retirement the family relocated to Homosassa FL.
She is survived by her husband Jim, son Todd, sister Chris Dale Sexton of Vero Beach and ten northern cousins.
A private service will be held Friday, Dec 13 with arrangements being made by Turner Funeral Home.
