Dorothy Mason Raley, age 86 of Webster, Florida, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Gulfside Hospice in Zephyrhills, Florida. She was born in Southport, Florida, to Allon C. and Lila S. Mason, and was the second of seven children. Dorothy married Charles W. Raley on June 5, 1951 at Southport Assembly of God. Together they pastored several churches in both Florida and Alabama. She was a very faithful partner throughout the entirety of her husband’s ministry, working as his secretary and ministry manager during their career. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Charles Whitman Raley, a daughter, Sharon Rose, and her three sisters and two brothers. She will be remembered for her elegance, vibrant personality, and enjoyment of her family. She is survived by three sons: David C. of Webster, Florida, Mason D. of Orange Park, Florida and John H. of Milton, Florida, nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
