Anthony Beigelbeck, age 88, of Spring Hill, FL, formerly of Clifton, New Jersey, passed away Friday, December 19, 2014. Anthony was a seasonal resident for 10 years and a fulltime resident of Spring Hill for the last 7 years. Born in France to the late Antal Beigelbeck and Maria Hodof. Anthony emigrated from France to Hungary in 1936. Graduated with a Tool Maker Degree and went to work on his father’s wheat mill. After the Russian occupation of Hungary, Anthony immigrated to Venezuela and became Plant Manager of Gases Nacionales, an Oxygen and Hydrogen Plant. Anthony loved life and music. He dominated many instruments, among them the piano, organ, accordion, and violin; playing often for friends and at family gatherings earning him the nickname of “Tony the accordion player”. He was well traveled and always courteous about people and how they lived. Anthony spoke four languages. Tony came to the states in 1984, searching for the American Dream and found it! He worked for Dubois and later for Roche Pharmaceuticals, from where he retired, earning him the nickname: “Tony the Tiger”. Anthony is survived by Theresa Koteles, loving companion of 17 years; sons Etienne and Marcel; daughters Micheline and Claudine; 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; sisters Madeleine, Helen; and a brother Rudi. He will be remembered by his family and friends as a happy and good person, always willing to help others. May God grant him peace and may the light shine upon him throughout eternity. Family and friends will gather at the Turner Funeral Home, 14360 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill, FL., on Tuesday, December 23, 2014, from 6 – 8 PM. The funeral service will be held at 7 PM. Cremation will follow services at Anthony’s request, and he will be entombed at the Florida Hills Memorial Gardens at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hernando Pasco Hospice Foundation in Anthony’s memory.
