John Lawrence Perry

John Lawrence “Papa John” Perry, 63, of Spotsylvania, passed away December 18, 2013. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Brenda Perry; son Adam Perry (Dawn); brother Donald R. Perry (Hazel); granddaughter Julia; nephews Jonathan and Kirk and numerous great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Milton and Dorothy Perry He was employed by AmeriGas Propane for over 38 years. He loved the outdoors, especially gardening, and his beloved Chihuahua “Peanut”. The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, December 22, 2013 at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Spotsylvania chapel. A funeral service will be held at Mine Road Baptist Church at 11 a.m. Monday, December 23. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
