Reisenauer, Ruth K. (Age 94) Ruth was born in Curlew, WA by midwife to Claude and Gesine Page on March 23, 1917. She graduated from Curlew High School in 1933 as Valedictorian. She loved learning and expanded her education in Spokane by attending Kinman Business School. She was employed by more than one firm for accounting and clerical work. She married Sylvester Clarence Reisenauer in 1951 and continued to work for a while. After moving from Morgan Acres to Spokane Valley in 1955 she became a busy Mom with her two children in school activities, Girl Scouts and Rainbow. She enjoyed handiwork from crocheting to quilting and sewing. After Clarence retired they enjoyed traveling in their motor home with friends and family. She enjoyed time with social groups including Retin’s and especially liked the “Young at Heart” group at church. She always liked visiting with old friends and extended family. Upon needing more care for her Dementia she moved to an assisted living in 2001 and then to a group Home as age continued to affect her health. She entered into rest December 28, 2011. With her gracious spirit she will be missed. She is survived by two daughters, Kathy Reisenauer and Carol (Dick) Schuchart, and grandchildren, James and Kristin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sylvester Clarence Reisenauer in 1989. The family would like to thank her extended church family and the care given by Arletta’s group home. Vigil Service will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2012, 4:00pm followed by a Funeral Mass on Thursday, January 5, at 11:00am. at St. John Vianney Catholic Church. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers Memorial Donations may be made to The American Cancer Society.
