Beloved mom and grandma, Paulette J. Baker (Goltiani) was called home to God on December 8, 2021. Born in Potlatch, ID on February 16, 1943 and a longtime resident of Spokane, Paulette devoted her life to caring for others, whether her children, Rick and Paula, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, or the many cats and dogs she spoiled with her love. Paulette mastered the use of her own abilities to handle whatever came her way and was a woman of great faith, quiet strength, and perseverance. Paulette loved Elvis, Michael Landon, and her Trans-Am, though not as much as the Lord and her family, friends, and various critters.
Paulette’s legacy lives on in her daughter, Paula Johnson, and granddaughter, Samantha Johnson, and she is further survived by her brother, William Baker, and his family, as well as four grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter, in addition to her cat, Miss Jen. Please hug those you love close in Paulette’s memory this holiday season, whether they are human or animal.
Paulette will be laid to rest at Fairmount Memorial Cemetery after a graveside service on Monday, December 20, 2021 at 2:00pm, following viewing at Ball and Dodd Funeral Home 10:00am to 1:30pm. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Spokane Humane Society/SCRAPS in Paulette’s memory or light a candle for her in your home as you celebrate this Christmas.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.BallandDodd.com for the Baker family.
