Marjorie passed away on January 9, 2014 in Spokane, WA. She was born February 22, 1930 in Deer Park, WA to Lyle Herbert Jamison and Mildred Mace. She attended Garfield Grade School and North Central High School. During Marjorie’s senior year, she was diagnosed with polio; but that diagnose didn’t slow her down. She never put herself first. She always wanted to help others. She loved square dancing in her wheelchair, riding snowmobiles, and driving her car. The word “can’t” was never part of her vocabulary. Her passion was helping others; and becoming the Head of the ARC Rehabilitation Center was her dream job. When she moved to the Coventry Court Apartments, she immediately embraced her surroundings and became their Event Planner. Marjorie is survived by her companion, Lester Graham; brother, Gary Lee Nickeson (Marilyn); nephew, Steve (Melinda) Nickeson; sister, Mary Lou Mueller; niece, Patricia (Scott) Kenon; nephew, Danny (Jan) Mueller; and her husband’s children, Laurie, Chris, Lance, and Marvin Pratt, who always called her “Mom”. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Pratt. A Celebration of Marjorie’s Life will be held on Monday, January 20th at 12:00 pm at the Ball & Dodd Chapel, 5100 W. Wellesley, Spokane, WA. A special Memorial Service will be scheduled at the Coventry Court Apartments.
