June 17, 1970 – February 25, 2023
James A Zeik, born in Sacramento, CA to Charles E and Patsy A Zeik on June 17, 1970, entered Heaven on Saturday, February 25, 2023 after being diagnosed with cancer just 4 weeks prior. Jim was raised primarily in Topeka, KS where he attended and graduated from South Knollwood Baptist Church and School. Jim then attended and graduated Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO, where he met his wife, Dawn J Fountain. The two were married on May 30, 1993.
Jim and Dawn served in ministries in Chicago, IL, Topeka, KS, Missoula, MT and lastly, Spokane, WA as pastor at Liberty Baptist Church. Outside of the church, Jim spent time with his wife, his children, and six grandchildren. He enjoyed firepits, 4-wheeling, building, fishing, and vacations at the ocean. He loved his book and Bible reading and was the best prayer warrior we know.
Jim will be forever missed but we look forward to seeing him again in Heaven where he is with His Saviour and Creator. He is survived by his wife, Dawn J (Fountain) Zeik; children Levi J Zeik (Elisa) and 3 grandchildren; Karli D Schouten and 3 grandchildren; Jordan M Zeik (Shari); Chaden L Zeik and Dawson A Zeik. Also survived by his mother, Patsy A Zeik; sister Carol Rowe (Gary); brother Andrew Zeik (Heather); numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles E Zeik; brother, Charles E Zeik II; two infant sisters.
