Kat was born in January 1957 in Houston, TX to Virginia and Wyatt Weeks.
Kat followed her lifelong passion for animals, becoming an Animal Control Officer and Wild animal specialist for the City of Everett. Kat was an artist. She did stained glass, she painted, and she did gourd art. She was an amazing person, always positive even in the darkest times. The only thing Kat loved more than animals and art was her family.
In 2010 Kat and Steven King joined together combining their two beautiful families. With three daughters, a new chapter of her life had begun.
Kat is survived by her husband Steve, siblings Susan, Pris, Wyatt, and Rob, daughter Avriel, stepdaughters Angela and Jen, grandchildren Harley, Jaden, Killian, and Liam, and great grandchildren Elton, Aalayshia, and Zeppelin
