Denise Jean (Hart) Breen of Spokane, Washington, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2019. She was 88 years old. Denise was born in Walla Walla, WA and grew up in Milton-Freewater, OR. She graduated from McLoughlin High School and attended Washington State University. Denise kept in touch with her friends from her graduation class as well as attending class reunions. Denise married the true love of her life Carmen R. Breen of Walla Walla in 1954. Together they moved to Spokane and had a great life together. Denise and her husband co-founded the Model T Ford Club of America Spokane Chapter in 1972. Denise volunteered and was always giving a helping hand to many organizations.
She is preceded in death by her father, Horace Hart, mother, Helen Hart, husband, Carmen R. Breen and her sister Shirley Hiatt. She is survived by her son Robert C. Breen of Spokane, WA, granddaughter’s Maranda L. Breen of Spokane, WA and Carmen D. Breen of Coeur d’Alene, ID, and three nephews, Dick Hiatt, David Hiatt, and Doug Saturno.
Denise’s life has been full and she enjoyed many family, friends and good times. Please lift up your heart and share with her, God wants her now, he has set her free till we all meet again. Denise will be dearly missed.
A memorial service will be held for Denise at Thornhill Valley Chapel, 1400 S. Pines Rd., Spokane Valley, WA 99206, at 11:00 AM, Wednesday January 30, 2019 with graveside service to follow.
