Bonnie Jean Peterson

Our beloved Bonnie received her wings and entered into heaven on February 10th, 2014 surrounded by her family and loved ones. Bonnie was born to Charles and Jean Oles on September 22, 1952, in Cloquet Minnesota.

After graduation, Bonnie started her lifelong adventure first by moving to the Minneapolis area and then on to Orange County California where she resided for the majority of her adult life. Bonnie’s career was in the beauty industry where she owned and operated several salons and spas. In California, she catered to many stars and celebrities and loved every minute of that time in her life. She moved back to her hometown of Cloquet MN in 2004 to marry her childhood sweetheart (Jim Pasek) and opened Necessities Salon and Spa. In 2010 she took on another adventure by moving to Spokane and opening the On Broadway Salon and Spa which will live on as a memorial to her.

Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, Charles (Corky) Oles, Jean Cain and step father Lucas Cain. She leaves behind her best accomplishment, her son Scott Peterson of San Francisco, CA. She also leaves behind two sisters, Cynthia (Oles) Asher (Justin) Asher, Spokane WA, Jodi Oles, Hibbing MN. Two Brothers, Danny Cain, Cloquet MN, Randy (Christine) Oles, Nome AK. Bonnie also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, Aunts, Uncles and cousins throughout Minnesota, Washington and California, not to mention the hundreds of friends throughout the country whose lives where enriched by knowing her and her charismatically electrifying personality. Bonnie was a very special person who touched so many people. She will be missed, loved and live on in our hearts forever. Friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Tribute on February 23rd 2014, 1-3pm at” On Broadway Salon and Spa” located at 915 W Broadway, Spokane WA. Reception to follow.
