Ray Clardy was born on December 16, 1929 in Ware Shoals, SC, to Walter E. Clardy and Dora B. Evens.
Ray joined the Army in 1951, stationed in Korea during active duty. Ray moved to Spokane, WA and accepted a position as a steelworker at Kaiser Aluminum, where he worked for more than 35 years.
Ray Clardy married Lorraine Naasz in 1954 and the couple had three children together.
Ray enjoyed fishing, camping, bowling and golfing. His family and friends will always remember him as a great husband, father, grandfather and a good person.
Ray Clardy is survived by his siblings, Joann Scott, Barbara Williams and Jerry Clardy, of South Carolina and Georgia; His daughters, Sherry Clinger and Teresa Noggles of Spokane, WA; and his grandchildren of 6, great grandchildren of 4, and great great grandchildren of 6.
A visitation for Ray will be held Monday, October 28, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Hazen & Jaeger Valley Funeral Home, 1306 N Pines Rd, Spokane Valley, WA 99206.
A funeral service will occur Tuesday, October 29, 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM, 1306 N Pines Rd, Spokane Valley, WA 99206. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Ray Clardy's life.
