Randy graduated from Gonzaga Prep, Class of 1961. Following graduation, he attended WSU and graduated in 1966 from the School of Pharmacy. He was employed at Hart & Dilatush Pharmacy where he became the eventual owner. He sold Hart & Dilatush in 2005 and began enjoying his retirement.
Randy married Janet (Eisele) Moore and became a father-figure to her four children that ranged in age from 11 to 17 years of age. They were married for 46 years. As a young man, Randy spent quite a bit of time in Ione, Washington with his grandfather and brother. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping at Sullivan lake. Randy had many interests that included Harley motorcycles and his annual trips to Sturgis with his brother, son, and friends. He was a Jeep, Corvette, and vintage car enthusiast. Randy was also a loyal member of the Cougar Club, taking his motorhome to tailgating events in Pullman before the Cougar football games. He also enjoyed traveling to Reno and local casinos to play the slots.
Randy is survived by his wife, Janet, their children Jeff Moore, Kristina Wegner, Cheri Hobbs, and Steve Moore; siblings Robert, Margaret, Claudia (John) Ebel, Steve (Kathy), and Tony (Traci) Collins; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by son in law Rick Hobbs and sister in law Glenda Collins.
At Randy’s request, there will be no service. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
