Patricia Joan Christensen

Patricia Joan Christensen Passed away peacefully on August 31. 2022. She was born to John and Dorothy Rodgers February 24, 1933, in Imperial, Nebraska. She spent her early years in Nebraska and Colorado, living with her parents and her aunt Ethel Sprague. She was married to Danny Christensen and had three daughters — Crystal Teleckv, Pamela Hadi and Janelle Divine. During Danny's service in the Air Force, they lived in Louisiana, Georgia, New Hampshire and Florida before settling in the Spokane area. Patty was actively involved with her children's schools and often volunteered her time to her community. She worked at Holy Family Hospital for many years and was a loyal employee.

Patty loved all kinds of crafts but was an especially talented knitter and quilter. She could often be found cutting and piecing quilts on her dining room table, making beautiful designs with fabric. She also enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with her family.

Patty is survived by her daughters, her sisters Janice Stein and Donna Goff, grandchildren Angela, Behrouz, Afshaun, Leila and Kari. Also, great-grandchildren Dominic, Carter, Cole, Quinn, Oliver, Lily, Jack, Heath, Kendon and Kelbv. She was predeceased by her parents and siblings Jackie, Carol, Theodore, James, Edward and William. At her request there will be no service, but a private family memorial will be held at a later date.
