Born December 16, 1955, lost her battle with cancer on January 27th, 2012. She was born the only daughter to Harold & Dorothy Sherette in Grand Forks, ND. Karen is survived by her husband of 38 yrs., Rick Knapp, of Rockford, WA; her daughters, Kristine Kendrick (Michael) of Spokane, and Melissa Carr (Barry) of Auburn, WA; her son, Chris Knapp, of Spokane; 7 grandchildren, Ashley, Dallas, Donavan, Delaci, Kaitlynn and Brayden; 1 great granddaughter, Jaidyn; her mother, Dorothy Sherette; mother-in-law, Jenilee Whitney; and 4 brothers. Please make donations in Karen’s name to Gamma Knife of Spokane. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 31 at 10:00am in the Colonial Chapel of Hazen & Jaeger Valley.
