Joy Carol entered this world December 25, 1930 and was requested home July 20, 2023. A short graveside gathering for family will be at Spokane Memorial Gardens laying Mom to rest beside her husband Melvin PHINNEY. A visitation will be Fri., July 28, 2023 from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at Hazen & Jaeger Valley Funeral Home, 1306 N. Pines Rd., Spokane Valley, WA. The Memorial for Joy will be Sat., July 29, 2023 at 12:00 pm (Noon) at the Funeral Home, with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, if you choose, a donation to the missionary program at Valley Assembly of God, 15618 E. Broadway Ave., Spokane Valley, WA 99037 is appreciated.
Mom lived a beautiful life. We are all blessed to have called her Mom, Friend, Aunt, Sister, Grandma, or Graham Cracker. Green was Mom’s favorite color, feel free to express the shade of your choice, if attending our “Good Bye”.
