William Trepicchio

William L. Trepicchio, 90, of Pompton Plains, NJ, passed away after a brief illness on January 21, 2018. Bill was born in Lodi, NJ, received his bachelor’s degree in education at Paterson State University and his master’s in education administration from Montclair State University. He was a proud member of the United States Navy serving in WWll. Bill retired in 1994 after over 40 years of service with the Englewood Public School System. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion and was an avid golfer. He is predeceased in life by his son John, and his sisters Connie Nuara and Rachael Donatuccio. Bill is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Mary Patricia (Queenan) Trepicchio; devoted children: Mary Beth Dowd and her husband James of Sparta, NJ; William L. Trepicchio Jr. and his wife Elaine of Andover, MA; and Michael J. Trepicchio and his wife Jennifer of Saddle River, NJ. Bill is also survived by his beloved grandchildren: Erin, Jessica and Kate Dowd; Colin and Andrew Trepicchio; Luke and Rowan Trepicchio; his brother Henry Trepicchio, and many loving nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held on January 24th, Wednesday, from 4-7pm at the Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St, Sparta, NJ 07871. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am Thursday, at St. Kateri Church, 427 Stanhope Rd, Sparta, NJ 07871.
