Wayne T. Haag

He was born in Ridgewood, NJ to the late Dorothy (nee Tucker) and Edward R. Haag.

Wayne graduated from Ridgewood High School in 1971 and went to Fairleigh Dickinson University. He worked in the wholesale meat industry before opening his own business in 2002.

In 1975 he married his wife, Laura Nash and moved to Wyckoff, NJ before settling in Sparta in 1988 with their 2 young children.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Laura (nee Nash), daughter Stacey Faughnan (Brian), son Jason, two grandchildren; Nash and Gavin, sisters Marcia Gerace (Ronald) and Susan Schaller (Herman). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Wayne was predeceased by his parents and brother Edward C. Haag.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 2 – 4PM at Goble Funeral Home 22 Main St., Sparta, NJ 07871. Cremation was held privately. The family has requested that all guests visiting to please wear a mask.

In lieu of flowers, donations made in Wayne’s memory to Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice 99 Sparta Ave., Newton, NJ would be greatly appreciated.
