Stanley Joseph Zadrozny returned peacefully to the Lord on August 24, 2021. Born on March 2, 1940 Stan was the oldest of four siblings raised in Brooklyn, NY. He joins in heaven his parents, Stanley and Mary (Kunitski); sisters MaryAnn and Judith and is survived by his brother John. Stan is mourned by Trudy (Powers) his teenage sweetheart and beloved wife of 60 years; his children, Beth Finnerty (Kevin) of Tuckahoe NY, Ruth Perkins (Mike) of Saratoga Springs NY, and Stanley (Eileen) of Westfield NJ, and his niece Kerry Moore (Ed), his grandchildren, nieces and nephews Kate, Jill, Jack, Abigail, Rebecca, Ryan, Billy, Mary, Nicholas, Anna. He also leaves behind great friends with whom he had wonderful memories while enjoying the simple joys of life.
Following his graduation from Brooklyn Prep in 1958, Stan served as a proud member of the FDNY and served bravely for 20 years. Following his retirement from the FDNY he went on to additional careers as a general contractor and real estate appraiser. Stan was an avid reader, loved to travel and planned trips across the United States visiting 49 states during his lifetime. He also enjoyed going to Yankee games, cooking extravagant meals for family and
friends and spending vacations with his children and grandchildren in Lake Hopatcong and Saratoga Springs. One of his favorite yearly summer trips was taking his grandchildren to Lancaster, PA.
