Dr. Robert G. Ludwig

Robert G. Ludwig, 91, of the Lake Shawnee section of Jefferson Township, NJ died on April 8, 2010 at his home. Robert was born in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn, NY and was a graduate of St. Michael’s High School there and maintained a practice there as a DDS for many years. Robert was a graduate of St. John’s University, class of 1939 with a Bachelor’s degree in Science and the Georgetown University Dental School, class of 1943. He was a US Army Veteran serving as a Captain in the Panama Canal Zone during WWll. Robert was a member of the American Dental Society and the Catholic Dental Society of Brooklyn, NY. He is predeceased in life by his beloved wife Frances (nee Howard) Ludwig; devoted father of Robert J. Ludwig and his wife Linda; Patricia Kevil; Marie Wilson and her husband Craig; Anita Lockwood and her husband Bill and Frances Williams and her husband Jim. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren Robert, Michael, Francie, Kristen, Craig, Katherine, Ian, Sarah, Elizabeth, and Paul and great grandchildren Aidan, and Brendan and his beloved friend Helen Muchewicz. Friends may call Sunday April 11th, 2010 , from 3-7pm at the Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St., Sparta. A funeral mass will be held at 11am Monday at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 294 Sparta Ave., Sparta.
