Johnny Ortiz

Visitation will be held at Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St., Sparta, NJ 07871 on Saturday, April 23rd, at 10 am until noon followed by Interment at Mt. Olivet Roman Catholic Cemetery, 220 Mt. Olivet Avenue, Newark, NJ 07114.

Johnny worked in the automobile industry for over 30 years. His last place of employment was at Route 23 Auto Mall in Butler, NJ.

Johnny enjoyed gardening, hiking and traveling with his family. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Cecilia Gratacos Ortiz and three children, Cecilia Marie, John Alexander and Aaron John, his two sisters, Alejita Maria Ortiz, Agnes Ortiz Eng and husband Kim Eng, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Alejandrina Rivera Ortiz and father Juan E. Ortiz Castro.
