Jessica Anne Mongiovi

Jessica A. Mongiovi, 32, of Henrico, VA passed away unexpectedly at home on April 20, 2021. Jessica was born in Hackettstown NJ and grew up in Sparta before moving to Virginia in 2013. She was a 2007 graduate of Sparta High School.

She attended John Tyler Community College in Midlothian, VA, studying veterinary technology. She worked for Tyson Foods, Glen Allen, VA. Jessica was an avid lover of sports, but was especially fond of soccer and played travel soccer for many years. She was an active member of The Chapel in Midlothian, VA and HARP of Chesterfield, VA.

Jessica is survived by her loving daughter, Jordan Mongiovi and son, Joseph Mongiovi as well as her devoted parents Joseph and Kathleen Mongiovi of Midlothian VA, her sisters Sarah Mongiovi of Bon Air, VA; Rachel Mongiovi of Sparta, NJ; her brother and sister-in-law Daniel and Ashley Mongiovi of Hackettstown NJ; as well as her nephews Frank and Mitchell Mongiovi.

A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 from 5 - 8PM at Goble Funeral Home 22 Main St., Sparta, NJ 07871. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, 10AM at Saint Kateri Roman Catholic Church in Sparta, NJ. Interment of cremains will be held at Sparta Cemetery.
