Linda Dessy, age 76, of Oak Island, North Carolina passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2024.
Ms. Linda was born June 7,1948 in Butler, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Ralph Rettig and Gertrude Fleming Rettig. She gave back to the community through volunteerism especially at the Hope Chest store on Oak Island and Paws Place. Linda was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening. While living at Terra Bella among friends she met many people including the staff who became her family.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
