Mrs. Miller was born January 27, 1933 the daughter of the late Stephen and Anna Kathryn Peklich. Jean was a devoted Marine Corp wife to her husband who served over 30 years. She enjoyed traveling and living in many different areas across the country. She will be remembered for her love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jean had been active in the Havelock VFW and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles.
Survivors include a son Charles Miller and wife Emily of Supply; two daughters, Karen Daugherty and husband Roger of Chesapeake, VA, and Patricia Ann Miller of Powder Springs, TN; a sister, Patricia Ressler; a brother, Richard Demchyk; seven grandchildren, Lauren, Sarah, Matthew, Amy, Jonathan, Taylor, and Allison; and four great-grandchildren, Grayson, Holden, Zayne, and Everly.
Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her husband Tilghman "Chuck" Miller, Jr.; and a brother John Peklich.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 in the Chesapeake Memorial Gardens in Chesapeake, VA.
