Mark C. Wagner

Born in Wilkes–Barre, PA on May 6, 1945, he was the son of the late Frederick and Shirley (Cronin) Wagner. He was a Lieutenant on the Wolcott Police Department for over 27 years. He served on the Wolcott Town Council for 12 years, was chairman during the last four years and was active in the Republican Party. He was a member of Wolcott Congregational Church, the Mason’s Wolcott Lodge No. 146, the Bristol Fish and Game Club and enjoyed his annual hunting trip to Maine with his close friends.

Besides his wife of 37 years, Mark is survived by his son Chris Wagner, his grandson Gabe Wagner both of Wolcott, his brother Drew and his wife “Marty” Wagner of East Hartford, his aunt Ruth Deobler of AZ, his father-in-law Daniel Ferrari of Wolcott and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling hours are Monday from 4 to 7 PM at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home 690 Woodtick Rd in Wolcott. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at 11 AM. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery.
