Mark E. Farren, 60, of Waterbury passed away peacefully after a long battle with frontal temporal lobe dementia on Sunday, March 25th at Livewell of CT. He was the beloved husband of Kathleen (Daly) Farren for 40 years.
He was born on March 15, 1958 in Waterbury the son of the late Edmund and Evelyn (Andrulis) Farren. Mark had worked for Risdon Corp. for over 30 years.
Because of the death of his mother at his age of 9 he was raised by his cousin Barbara and the late Armand Brodeur and their daughters Barbara Santos and Lisa Silverglade. Mark was a longtime resident of Naugatuck and a member of the Naugatuck Elks, He was a coach for the Peter J. Foley girls softball little league and the Little Pal girls basketball league. He was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughters Sara and husband Timothy Tedford of Middletown, Jessica Farren and partner Jaimie Martin of Waterbury and Kathleen M. Farren of Waterbury, his cherished grandchildren Andrew, Marcus and Vincent Curry and Adrianna Tedford. He also leaves his brother Jeffery and wife Kerry Farren of Kittery, ME, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter Lindsey Farren.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 30th from 4-7 pm at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington.
