Born May 29, 1965 in Ft. Ord, CA, he was the son of Richard and Sharon (Davis) Goff of Southington.
John was employed by Turner Studio?s ?NBA Channel since 2008 as a member of the original production crew for NBAtv. He always took great interest in furthering his expertise as a camera operator and lighting tech. John took a father-like role with the younger members of the production crew, who always came to him for advice. He was a complete professional and a valued member of the Turner Studios team.
He enjoyed watching all types of sports, tennis, baseball, golf. One of his hobbies was making movies. John loved to laugh and had a great sense of humor. He loved spending time with his nieces and nephews. John was a Big Brother while living in Orlando, FL. He loved all animals especially his dog ?Tommy?.
Besides his wife and parents he leaves two sisters, Christine Przybylski and husband Bruno of Southington and Deborah Fiorello of GA; five nieces and nephews, Taylor, Matthew and Nolan Fiorello and Samantha and Katelyn Przybylski.
His funeral will be held on Friday, Jun 10, 2011 at 9:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington to St. Thomas Church, 99 Bristol St. for a mass at 10 a.m. Burial will be in South End Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday from 5 - 8 p.m. In John?s memory donations may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc., 2080 Silas Deane Highway, 2nd fl., Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
