James A. Mastrianni

James A. Mastrianni, 73, of the Plantsville section of Southington, beloved widower of the late Marie (Vancor) Mastrianni, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at his home. He was born in Southington on January 29, 1950 and was one of eleven children born to the late Anthony Sr. and Anna May (Sullivan) Mastrianni. James was retired from The Bozzuto’s Corp. in 2007 where he was employed as a forklift operator in their warehouse. Jim was a quiet and humble man who adored his two grandchildren, Casey and Carter. He loved to go out to eat with his family. He also loved to watch the Yankees and WWE Wrestling on the television. James is survived by his daughter, Charlene Anderson and her husband Matthew of Bristol and also by his two grandchildren, Casey and Carter. He is also survived by his three brothers, Kenny and his wife Lee-Ann, Richard and his wife Lucille and Edward and his partner Michaela. James is also survived by his two sisters; Patricia Cirelli and her husband Pasquale and Rose Bellinghausen, and also by several nieces, nephews and cousins. James was predeceased by his siblings; Jean Brayton, Lorraine Hellenbrand, Bill Mastrianni, Thomas Mastrianni and Anthony Mastrianni Jr. A funeral home service for James will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington, CT 06489. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Southington where he will be laid to rest next to his beloved Marie. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to the service.
