Samantha Lynn Spencer, age 37, passed away on Monday morning, May 29th 2023, at her home in Warwick Township, surrounded and encircled with love by her family after courageously fighting a battle with stage 4 metastatic melanoma.
Samantha was born at Einstein Elkins Park Hospital (formerly Rolling Hill Hospital) on June 7, 1985, to Nancy and Robert Spencer. She grew up in Northeast Philadelphia and attended Our Lady of Ransom and Our Lady of Calvary grade schools. She went on to Archbishop Ryan High School, (class of '04). Samantha established a career as a home health care aide and settled in Warwick Township.
Samantha had a large and generous heart. She loved animals, babies, and watching old movies. But her greatest joy was being a mother to her two children. Her favorite place to be was North Wildwood, New Jersey. She loved looking through rental listings to find her vacation home each year.
Samantha was a fearless individual who spoke her mind with unwavering honesty. She suffered no fools and pulled no punches. She was unapologetically herself and didn't change or alter who she was for anyone. She was bold and fearless. She was full of kindness, generosity, a loving heart and a great sense of humor.
She loved all things cozy and had a unique knack for picking out the best clothes, candles, perfumes, and products. To put it simply, she had style. She was one of a kind—truly genuine. The world is undeniably diminished by her loss.
Samantha is survived by her two children, Bridgette Wallace and Joseph Huffnagle Jr., her parents Nancy and Robert Spencer, her sister and brother in law, Laura & Matthew Tucker, her niece, Lana Jarrett and two nephews Shaun and Connor Jarrett, her grandfather Harry Guinan, and countless cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. The void she leaves behind is immense, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
