Ralph was born on July 17, 1938 in Philadelphia, PA, to parents, Ralph Sr. and Theresa (Ament) Rickards. He graduated from Lincoln High School. Ralph went on to establish his own company Hampton Hydraulics in Ivyland working for over 30 years. In addition, Mr. Rickards proudly served in the Navy.
After retiring Ralph and Betty spent their winters in Florida where his favorite activities were fishing and golfing. He loved spending time with family and friends and always enjoyed a good Manhattan.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents.
Ralph is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Betty Rickards; his children, Greg Rickards (Jennifer), Theresa Yurigan (Paul), Catherine Haus and Steven Rickards (Denisse); 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Services will be announced at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to Fox Chase Cancer Center or Shriners Hospital for Children.
