A long time resident of Holland and formerly of Morrell Park, PA, Maryanne was born on May 19, 1943 in Philadelphia, to parents, Edward and Jane (Flynn) Kisselback. She graduated from Lincoln High School. She met George, the love of her life, at the age of 17. They married, had 2 children and 5 grandchildren who affectionately referred to her as ‘Mom Mom’ and were the pride and joy of her life.
In her free time, Maryanne enjoyed working in her garden planting flowers and doing crafts, like making wreaths and flower arrangements. She loved to shop and took great pride in the wonderful home she decorated and shared with her family. She was a gourmet cook, often hosting large holiday gatherings.
She liked to travel and was fortunate to visit many places such as the NJ shore, the Caribbean, DisneyWorld, Paris, Portugal, London, Rome and Florence. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Maryanne was a kind and giving person with a heart of gold, always welcoming people into her home. Maryanne and George would be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary this coming January.
Maryanne was preceded in death by her mother and father, Edward and Jane Kisselback.
Maryanne is survived by her husband George Green, sister Jane Blesi, brother Edward Kisselback, daughter Wendy Green, son Erik Green and his wife Amy (Hulme) and her grandchildren Amber Dietz, Alexis Green, Keira McCloskey, Aether (Eva) Green and Declan McCloskey.
Family and friends are invited to a public visitation on Friday, November 22, 2024 starting at 11:00am followed by a Celebration of Life at 12:00pm at Wm. Rowen Grant Funeral Home at 659 Street Road, Southampton, PA 18966.
