Gary was a long-time resident of Bensalem, Pennsylvania. He was born on October 7th, 1946 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to parents, Nelson and Martha. He graduated from Northeast High School in 1964. Gary continued his education in business at Penn State University, Temple University and Bucks County Community College. He went on to establish a career as a Tool and Die Maker, working for Jade Tool and Die for more than 50 years until his retirement.
Gary is survived by his wife of 56 years, Lois, his two sons, Christian (Melissa) and Andrew (Jennifer); his sister Doris; his sister-in-law Mary, the wife of his late brother Richard; brother-in-law Lou (Susan); and several nieces and nephews. Gary was the proud grandfather of 6: Aiden, Jonathan, Colin, Brenden, Mackenzie and Quinn.
Gary was a 50-year member of the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania Free and Accepted Masons. He was a member of Lodge #9 F & AM, a Past Master of Louis Wagner Lodge #715 F & AM, and a Past High Priest of Corinthian Royal Arch Chapter #250.
Gary had a love for collecting stuff, whether it was the latest new cell phone, a new pair of shoes, the latest new car, or simply collecting tools (mostly unopened). He enjoyed photography, cycling and spinning, and going to the Outer Banks with all his grandkids in the summers. At the end of each day, while sitting in his Lazy Boy, he enjoyed a glass of white wine, a wheat beer, or the occasional gin and tonic to relax, just the way God intended it.
His love, laughter, and unwavering kindness will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were lucky enough to know him. A devoted husband, proud father, and cherished Pop Pop, he leaves a legacy of warmth and love that will never be forgotten.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial visitation Friday, October 4, 2024 at Wm. Rowen Grant Funeral, 659 Street Road, Southampton, PA 18966, from 1:00PM - 2:00PM.
