She was a long-time resident of Heritage Creek in Warwick, PA. Constance Rowley was born on June 30, 1933 in Philadelphia, PA, to parents, Matthew Cunningham and Catherine (Dunbar) Cunningham. She graduated from Olney High School in 1950. After high school, Constance started working at Alcoa and later worked at Acts and Jon’s Furniture.
Constance was good at painting and drawing. She had an eye for beauty and was an excellent interior decorator. She created a home that was both beautiful and inviting and she enjoyed having her family visit her there.
Constance was preceded in death by her first husband, John J. Rowley, in March of 1991 and her second husband, James Koch, who died in August of 2021.
Constance Rowley is survived by her daughters Cathy Rowley and Carol D’Ardenne and her grandson, Jamie D’Ardenne, her children by marriage, Joan Slavin (Joe), Jimmy Koch (Dana), and Nancy Dockstader, her grandchildren by marriage, Joey (Caitie), Michael (Ariann), John and Luke Slavin, Sienna, Logan, Mason, and Sawyer Koch, and Ian, Meghan and Andrew Dockstader and her great grandchildren by marriage, Vera James and Declan Michael Slavin.
A visitation for Constance will be held Thursday, February 16, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Wm. Rowen Grant Funeral Home Inc., 659 Street Road, Southampton, Pennsylvania 18966 followed by a memorial service The inurnment will occur at 12:30 PM at Hillside Cemetery, 2556 Susquehanna Road, Roslyn, PA 19001.
