August was born on April 26, 1941, in Cheltenham, PA, to parents, Anna and August Drach Sr. He graduated from Cardinal Dougherty in 1959. August went on to establish a career as an Electrician with PECO and after retirement became an EMT in Doylestown. In addition, Mr. Drach served in the Army in Vietnam.
Besides his love for his family his heart belonged to animals. From horses to dogs and cats, even birds, he loved them all.
August was preceded in death by his parents; Anna and August Drach; and his wife Miriam Lewis Drach.
August is survived by his daughter, Bonnie Johnson; granddaughter, Katherine Hunter and extended family members in the Kubala, Drach and Hunter families..
Family and Friends are invited to attend a one-hour Memorial Visitation at Wm. Rowen Grant Funeral Home, 659 Street Road, Southampton, PA 18966, from 10:00am – 11:00am, with a Service to follow.
