William Richard Lehman

Born in Brooklyn, New York in 1929 raised in Breezy Point Queens, he enlisted into the United States Marine Corp in 1946 and served in China. Upon completion of honorable service, he went on to receive his bachelors and post-graduate degrees from New York University, and worked in the insurance industry for over 30 years with offices in both New York and Boston. A talented artist, he was an avid sailor and member of the West Dennis Yacht Club.

He was the husband of India Louise Clifton, and they had 5 children. He leaves behind Kathy Larson, Patricia Papazaglou, William Jr., and Lisa Selden. His daughter Lynne passed away in 2001.

He celebrated his 34th wedding anniversary this year with his wife Kathleen. He leaves behind a son from their marriage, Jonathan.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday April 27th from 4-7pm at Doane, Beal, & Ames Funeral Home 729 Route

134 South Dennis Ma 02660. A Graveside Service will be held at the Oak Ridge Cemetery, 800 Rt 134 S. Dennis, MA on Thursday April 28th at 11am followed by a Memorial Brunch in his honor at 12:30pm at the West Dennis Yacht Club, 259 Loring Avenue, West Dennis, Massachusetts 02670.
