Robert Norvel Reeves

He was born on Flag Day, June 14, 1941 to Waldo and Mary Reeves in Boston. He is survived by his beloved wife Carol (Mezzetti) Reeves, of 61 years, his sister Mary DeMole, his brother, William (Billy) Reeves as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He is predeceased by his sister Betty Coughlin, brother James Reeves, and brothers in law Bobby DeMole, Eddie Coughlin, Bob Mezzetti, and John Mezzetti.

Bob worked in construction until the age of 60, but continued helping others with projects and repairs for the next 20 years. He loved gardening, both vegetables and flowers, which he would share with neighbors and family. He enjoyed travelling and exploring new places, as long as it was near the ocean, the only thing he loved as much as Carol. Bob's favorite pastime was taking a long, slow swim out into the ocean either by himself or with manatees and dolphins. Bob was generous, kind, and curious about the world and people. He was well-loved and will be missed dearly.

A Celebration of Bob's Life will be held on Sunday, June 23, 2024 from 12:00 pm - 2:00 PM at the Doane, Beal, & Ames Funeral Home, 729 Rt. 134, South Dennis.
