Francis grew up in South Dennis, graduating from Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School in 1972, but most recently lived in New Bedford. Francis was a very caring person always willing to lend a hand to someone in need of assistance with something. Francis made friends easily and had many. He had a funny sense of humor and loved playing the lottery, especially Keno. His work career included working for local landscape companies, line cook for various restaurants including 99 Restaurant and working for Christmas Tree Shops stock room unloading merchandise. When Christmas Tree Shop moved their distribution to Middleboro, Francis moved to that area to continue working for the company. He enjoyed that type of work very much.
