Ms. Hilda Brazil, age 93, originally of New Bedford, MA, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2023 at Allen Christian Care Senior Living Facility. She was the wife of the late Gilbert Brazil, to whom she had been married for 44 years.
Born in New Bedford, MA, a daughter of the late Anna (Sylva) and Joseph Macedo. She was a resident of New Bedford and N. Dartmouth, MA, Palm Coast, FL and Allen, TX.
She is survived by her two daughters, Barbara A. Johnson and Lisa Raposo; and her nieces, Sharon Josefek and Beverly Merolle; and nephews, Steven Souza and Robert Souza.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, April 14, 2023 at 11AM in St. Julie Billiart Parish, 494 Slocum Road, North Dartmouth, MA. Burial will be at St. John’s Cemetery, Allen St., New Bedford. Visitation will be Thursday, April 13, 2023 from 5-7 PM at Waring-Sullivan Home at Dartmouth, 230 Russells Mills Rd., South Dartmouth, MA.
