William Bucci

William Bucci, 73, of Syracuse, passed away Saturday, October 1st at St. Joseph’s Hospital. He was born in Auburn to the late Pasquale and Rose (Ceferatti) in 1943. William worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital in the kitchen maintenance department for many years before retiring in 2006. He enjoyed music and traveling. He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Pasquale Bucci, Jr.

William is survived by his brother and sister-in-law; Edward and Terry Bucci, of Camillus, 3 nieces; Susan (Anthony) Lucio, of Camillus, Sandy (Joseph) Nesci, of Camillus and Gina (Tim) Warren, of Liverpool, 4 great-nieces; Samantha Nesci, Rachel and Alaina Lucio and Riley Warren, a great-nephew; Anthony Lucio IV, close family, Sister Carmel Rose Nicita, MFIC, of NJ and Carl Nicita, Jr., of Liverpool and many cousins and close friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 am Friday, October 7, 2016 at Holy Family Church, 127 Chapel Dr., Fairmount. Private burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse. Family and friends may call from 5 to 7 pm Thursday, October 6, 2016 at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Ave.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Missionary Franciscan Sisters MFIC, 253 Knickerbocker Rd, Tenafly, NJ 07670.
