Helen (Gavin) Cammuso

Helen (Gavin) Cammuso, 75, of Fairmount, passed away peacefully at home Monday, October 24th. Helen retired in 2002 from Stonehedge Elementary School after 20 years with the West Genesee School District. She volunteered at several organizations including the Wellspring Clinic at Community General Hospital and the Crouse Hinds Theater at the Civic Center. She was a communicant of Holy Family Church, and coordinated one of their funeral luncheon teams.

She was predeceased by her parents, John and Ruth (Thompson) Gavin, first husband, Robert Bostwick and second husband, Enrico Cammuso.

She is survived by her daughter; Karen Bowman, of Baldwinsville, son; Steven Bostwick, of NYC, step-children; Thomas (Jenna) Cammuso, of Syracuse and Marianne (Timothy) Herne, of Jordan, brother; David (Marcia) Gavin, of Rochester grandchildren; Jennifer and Joel Bowman, Nicholas and Natalie Cammuso and Kayla and Justin Herne, aunt; Dorothy Thompson and several cousins.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 10 am Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Holy Family Church, Fairmount. Private burial in Woodlawn Cemetery will be at a later date. Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 pm Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Avenue.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Holy Family Church, designated to the Funeral Luncheon Committee.
