Danny was born December 30,1989, in Everett, Washington. He grew up on Lake Stevens living life to its fullest and testing his boundaries- the boy who would end up sledding into the creek. With earliest beginnings in swimming, outdoor exploration, violin mastery (and youth symphony) and Awana Bible memory competition, Danny became a tenacious athlete. He enjoyed snowboarding, sailing, kayaking, hiking, and cross-country skiing. He was an expert alpine skier, teaching kid’ ski classes for a time alongside his dad. When his adventures confined him to a couch for a summer, with a broken leg, Danny picked up a guitar and taught himself to play it well with characteristic tenacity. One could say he liked ‘doing ‘ more than spectating.
Danny’s occupation(s) were varied, including ski salesman, delivery truck driver, forklift operator, electrician, window washer, all fitting into his love for exploration. Adventure intertwines memories with Danny- backpacking in the mountains, hiking together locally, plunging into glacial alpine lakes. In one adventure we enjoyed his violin serenades from the bow of a sailboat in far northern waters.
Those closest to Danny will always treasure the memories of his kindness, honesty, and his desire to meet others where they were. His participation in church fellowship, Celebrate Recovery, and Bible Study Fellowship were a great encouragement to Danny, in his walk with the Lord.
Danny is survived by his parents Robert and Shelley Coleman; brother Ben (Whitney) Coleman; grandmother Vel Briggs; aunt Barb (Byron) Williams; uncles Steve Briggs and Jack (Susan) Briggs; cousins Jane (Matt) Helbert, Ann (Rick) Gardner, Alex Briggs, Lynn (Marcus) Fly, Lori O’Brannon (David Moshinsky), Mary Alicia Briggs (Evan Hollaway); nephews Theo and John Coleman; nieces Evangel and Ella Coleman.
