Wilton “Will” Morris Pitchford, 78, passed away on March 27, 2020 in Snellville, GA. Will was born on January 1, 1942 to George and Lydia Pitchford in McVey, IL. and went to live with his sister, Lola Berkley, at age 10 when his mother passed away. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force as a Morse Code Operator, serving in the Bering Sea and Turkey. Will met the love of his life, Mary Lou in Chicago where he worked as an Estimator. Eventually his job brought him to the Atlanta area where he owned and operated his own business for over fifteen years. Will loved to run, the beach and his family. Wilton was preceded in death by his daughter Sheri Rogers in 2018. Survivors include his wife Mary Lou Meyer Pitchford of Lilburn, daughter Stacy Buffo and husband Victor of Buford, grandchildren Mackenzie Buffo, Nick Buffo and Samantha Buffo, all of Buford, brother Dean Pitchford and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, July 17, 2021, in the Eternal Hills Funeral Home Chapel with a small reception to follow.
