Sheila Patricia Weir

Sheila was born to Eunice and Gaspar Weir on July 6th, 1943 in New Providence, Bahamas. Sheila graduated from Government High School then attended the Shaw Business College in Toronto Canada completing her education in secretarial science. Sheila excelled in the subjects of English and Mathematics which would serve her well in her profession as a Principal of Nassau Academy of Business for over twenty years and later as a school teacher at St. John's College in the Bahamas. Her passion developed over time when she dedicated her life to the Lord and she became an avid member in various bible studies and women's ministries with one goal in mind, to draw near to God.

Sheila was pre- deceased by her brother Rev. Dr. J Emmett Weir just six months ago.

Sheila is survived by her two children Alon Weir(Sylvie) and Lisa Weir. Six Grandchildren: Leslie Weir, Michael Crawford, Joshua Crawford, Kaleb Crawford, Amour Weir, and Sia Wier. One Great grand child : Maya Crawford. Siblings: Dr Roger L. Weir, Miriam Curling, and her pre- deceased brother Rev.Dr. J. Emmett Weir Dr.J. Emmett Weir, and Sister- in - Law Ena Weir. Sheila's family extends far beyond her immediate family and all her cousins, nieces,nephews, church family brothers and sisters in Christ are affectingly loved and recognized.

Sheila spent her final years in Snellville Georgia under the care of her children and grandchildren.
